Indoor Picnic With Kids

The weekend never seems to be as good as they were before lockdown, isn’t it? Every day at home left us feeling dreaded and there is no excitement left for the weekend. Well, I know how it feels and even worse when you can’t go out and enjoy yourself with your family. And, if you have younger kids, it becomes a little difficult to entertain them during the weekend.

But, as always, I have got a great quick fix to all your problems and I am sure you are going to enjoy it as much as I did while doing this activity with my kids and family. In the series of fun activities to do with kids during the quarantine period, I have selected I for Indoor Picnic with kids.

You might be thinking it is completely boring and not a fun thing to do, but trust me and try it out with your kids and try to involve other family members into this activity and I am sure you will forget that you were feeling dreaded from the thought of spending the weekend with the family.

Why Indoor Picnic With Kids?

Indoor Picnic spice up your quarantine days with your kids. It adds an extra effort and the word ‘picnic’ is fun in itself. You might not be getting the whole vibe of the outdoor picnic but if you are trying to make the best efforts, it can be more fun.

Material Required for the Indoor Picnic With Kids

You don’t need special materials for an Indoor picnic. All you need is a mat, some indoor board games, and tasty sandwiches or any food and beverages of your choice.

How to do “Indoor Picnic With Kids”

An indoor picnic with kids is similar to an outdoor picnic. The only difference is that you need to stay at home with your family members. You can open your windows in your living room to get the fresh air and sunlight. Spread the mad in the living room and set up all the board games and food around the mat.

Choose any fun board games and try to play with your kids. Don’t invite any extra family members to participate in this indoor picnic. Encourage them to do this activity at their own house.

Key Learnings

Here’s the learning from Indoor Activity with Kids:

  • It gave us a chance to make stronger family bonds than ever. It was one of the best weekends that I have spent after a long time.
  • My family loved the idea of Indoor picnic and they have suggested that we should do it frequently.

My Overall Experience

It was such a great time, indeed. I might be planning more Indoor picnics with my family in the coming weekends.
