History of Ayurveda
Ayurveda is 5000 year old and one of the oldest forms of medicine originated from India. Ayurvedic medicine focuses on wellness and health by blending the body, mind and spirit. Recently I had a chance to experience the kairali Ayurvedic center at chembur (Mumbai). They have experienced doctor who after consultation suggest good therapy for patient or normal people like us who just want a relaxing spa after tiring day. The center is made with traditional serene environment and have 4 therapy rooms with attached bathrooms. The staff is well experienced and they keep on asking if the massage is good enough or pressure applied is good for your tissues. The ambience at the entrance is so appealing and rooms are well maintained. 
Kairali’s has varieties of spa and relaxing massage therapy. What I learnt from doctor in center is that kairali has massages for every particular part of body with different oils and techniques used every time. I tried my hands on Abhingyam.
It is a full body massage, starting from head to back and then for a whole body. The procedure involves two masseuser giving pressure at equal speed and same direction. Following with steam in traditional steam box and bodyand hair wash with kairali’ special Pea powder, which removes oil immediately after application. This whole procedure makes my skin felt so shiny and felt so relaxing too. Abhyangam has been found very effective for removing stress and strain, improving eyesight, immunity, longevity, sound sleep, rheumatism, vitality and provides with a glowing skin. This massage also improves the immunity, rejuvenates and maintains the physique.
