What does Kids Freedom mean for you?

Parvarish, a film released in 1977 starring Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna is a story of how a criminal’s son (Amitabh Bachchan) goes on and becomes an efficient police officer whereas a police commissioner’s son (played by Vinod Khanna) turns out to be a criminal dealing with diamonds to Mafia. The film shows the impact of Kids Freedom.

When I first saw this movie, I thought how that would be possible. This was a very dramatic typically a Bollywood example. A more relevant example in today’s world would be children of upper middle class and higher class suiciding due to the Blue Whale game. No, I am not stereotyping to any particular incident to high class and low class but what I mean here is if these kids own a smartphone in today’s world. They can have access to education and all the facilities then why is that these kids fall prey to such things??

What would be deciding factor for kids Freedom?

kids Freedom is a very important factor when it comes to deciding how their future would be like.

• Would it be happy?
• Would it be full of tension?
• Would it even exist?

Kids Freedom does not just mean that their parents or whomsoever the guardian is, would let them do whatever they want to play, whenever they want to come back home as when they feel like. Kids Freedom mean giving them the freedom to live their childhood up to the fullest yet let not the innocence be taken away. Kids Freedom mean giving them all the facilities as well as liberties but also to keep a track that they do not misuse it. Today’s parents or guardians have a bigger challenge as they have to manage to have the time from the lives to keep a check on the day to day activities kids do and to advise or instruct them as to what is right and what is wrong.

I am sure a lot of you might agree to this that No person is bad only situations make him/her bad and if these kids are taught at a very young age that freedom can be used to tackle these situations well then problem like Corruption, Crime, Suicides would not stand a chance.

As our former President, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam rightly said, “The ignited minds of the youth is the most powerful resource on the Earth. I am convinced that the power of the youth if properly directed, will bring about transformed humanity by meeting its challenges and bring peace and prosperity.”
