In the series of fun activities to do with your kids during the quarantine period, the next alphabet is L and I have chosen L for listening to Podcasts. I know it is a little different from all the other activities that I have suggested. But, nowadays, there are a lot of Podcasts which helps to teach you a lot of things.

It’s more like modern age storytelling to your kids. And, it will keep them engrossed with the story while you can work or you can listen with them as well.

How to “ Listening to podcasts With Kids”

There is no strategy to follow while listening to podcasts with kids. If you want a great choice of kid-friendly podcasts then you can search it on google and you will get a plethora of best podcasts that you can listen to with your kids.

Currently, there are top 3 podcasts that I have been listening to my daughter, Angel.

  • KidNuz : News can be boring for kids. But, Kidnuz makes the news interesting for the kids. And the best part, they have a quick quiz for your kids which can be interesting for your kids.
  • What If World: Kids are super inquisitive about everything around them. And, this podcast makes kid-friendly stories based on the ‘What if’ questions.
  • Brains On: If your kids have a knack for science, then you must listen to this podcast. It helps to encourage a kid’s curiosity by answering the kid’s questions.

Key Learnings

If I don’t have the time while listening to podcasts with my daughter, then after each episode I tend to ask the summary of the episode and it makes her excited to tell what all she has learned through the podcasts.

My Overall Experience
