Handmade Gifts With Kids

With the increment in the cases of coronavirus, it has been difficult to guess the closure of lockdown. I can relate to your mixed feelings if you are a working or non-working parent. Feeding constant knowledge to these young minds is a constant pressure during the lockdown period.

But, you don’t need to worry about it! I am here to test and try out the ideas by myself and share out my favourite fun activities to do with your kids during the quarantine period. So, today for the alphabet H, I have found out an amazing activity i.e., H for Handmade gifts with kids.

homemade giftsNot only your kids but also you will be super excited while doing this activity. And the best part is that you will never run out of ideas and you will never get bored while making inexpensive handmade gifts.

Why Handmade Gifts With Kids?

I have always loved the idea of gifting to my family and friends. The smile you get in return is priceless. And editing a personal touch in your gifts can increase its worth. Nowadays, everyone is more likely to give handmade gifts.

So, why not teach your kids to make something interesting and they might be able to share it with their friends after lockdown.

Material Required for the Handmade Gifts With Kids

Angel and I made different one of the best handmade gift i.e., Chocolate Explosion Box

To make this handmade gift with kids, you will need a large chart paper, colorful printed paper, glue, pair of scissors, measuring scare and of course chocolate

How to make “Handmade Gifts With Kids”

It took us a lot of time to make the Chocolate Explosion box and it might be difficult for you to understand in blogging. But, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tlw3GobJm_M) is the video that we have referred to make the gift.

Key Learnings

Here are some of the learning that I have decoded throughout this activity:

  • Making handmade gifts adds a personalized touch and also encourages your children’s behavior to put effort into the gift.
  • It teaches patience to follow the instruction and a lot of hard work while preparing the chocolate explosion box.

My Overall Experience

My experience in making chocolate explosion boxes was great. I had a great time with my daughter while making it. But make sure to pay extra attention to the dimension of the gift and precision in cutting the paper. Make sure you cut out the paper and ask your kid to paste it rather than let them cut the paper.

I love making more handmade gifts. Let me know if you want to see a blog or video on more handmade gifts with my daughter.

So, try out this activity with your kids too and don’t forget to share the experience in the comment section below. If possible, you can also share the pictures of the handmade gifts that you have made with your kids and tag me, @sneha_261013 on Instagram.
